FULL MENTORSHIP INCLUDES
TWO WAYS TO WORK WITH CORE3
Some athletes need an ongoing development system. Others need one focused conversation around a specific problem. Core3 offers both.
For athletes who want focused one-on-one help with what they need right now, without a monthly commitment.
For athletes and families who want Core3 involved throughout the month, not only when a question comes up.
START WITH THE ATHLETE
Families usually do not need another generic program. They need help with the specific thing their athlete is navigating right now.
They look different after a mistake, a bad stretch, or a tough game and need tools to reset and keep competing.
They work hard, but they are not always sure what deserves their attention or how to turn effort into a better plan.
They know what they should do, but consistency slips when nobody is checking in, following up, or helping them own the process.
Playing time, injuries, tryouts, expectations, setbacks, and role changes can be difficult to navigate alone.
Film, skill work, basketball IQ, routines, preparation, and decision-making all improve when the athlete has a clearer focus.
They want to understand what higher-level basketball actually requires and what they can start doing now to prepare for it.
WHY MENTORSHIP
Core3 is not trying to replace a parent, trainer, or team coach. The value is adding a trusted voice who can understand the athlete, stay close to the process, and speak from experience.
Parents know their athlete better than anyone, but some conversations land differently when they come from someone outside the family.
Team coaches have an entire roster, practices, games, roles, and results to manage. Their job cannot always center on one athlete's full development picture.
A Core3 mentor can focus on the individual: confidence, habits, basketball decisions, adversity, accountability, goals, and the questions that come up between games and practices.
INTENTIONAL MATCHING
Core3 starts by learning about the athlete. Then we assign the mentor we believe fits the athlete's personality, current needs, goals, basketball situation, and the mentor's ability to serve them well.
Request an Initial CallTHE CORE3 SYSTEM
Every month builds from what Core3 already knows about the athlete. The plan changes as the athlete changes.
Goals, strengths, weaknesses, habits, schedule, confidence, mindset, and current basketball needs.
Identify the few priorities that can move the athlete forward instead of trying to fix everything at once.
Skill work, film assignments, routines, challenges, or practical resources built for that athlete.
Calls, communication, accountability, feedback, questions, and real-time guidance throughout the month.
Monthly development review, updated priorities, and a clear direction for the next month.
INSIDE THE EXPERIENCE
The two mentor calls are important checkpoints. The rest of the month is where Core3 helps athletes put the conversation into action.
Personal updates, follow up from the previous conversation, basketball development, mental performance, character, and the next action.
Athletes can send updates, ask questions, report their work, receive reminders, and get guidance when something comes up.
Weekly skill schedules, shooting routines, film assignments, nutrition habit guidance, daily routines, and other tools based on the athlete's current needs.
The conversation picks up from the last one. Progress is reviewed, current problems are coached, and the plan changes when needed.
Families receive a clear review of development themes, on-court progress, mindset, character, current trajectory, and what Core3 will emphasize next.
REAL CORE3 WORK
These are real examples of the evaluations, development plans, routines, and monthly reviews Core3 creates for athletes. The full page is shown so the work is easy to understand instead of being cropped into a small preview.

Goals, strengths, areas for improvement, mindset, habits, and the first development priorities.

A practical schedule that turns the athlete's current needs into clear work they can follow.

A detailed look at what changed, what still matters, and what Core3 will emphasize next.

Specific shooting, ball handling, finishing, footwork, or other work built around the athlete.
BETWEEN-CALL SUPPORT
These are real examples from Core3 athlete conversations. Film feedback, questions before important moments, and accountability all happen between scheduled calls.

Mentors can review provided game film and turn difficult moments into clear learning points.

When an athlete has a tryout, game, decision, or challenge, they have someone experienced to ask.

Athletes report the work, share goals, and learn to take more ownership of their development.
BEYOND THE GAME
Core3 helps athletes develop the mindset, habits, character, and communication skills that affect how they perform on the court and how they carry themselves everywhere else.
We help athletes build tools for the moments when basketball gets difficult, emotional, or uncertain.
We work on the standards that shape how an athlete responds, earns trust, and takes responsibility for their development.
We help athletes turn good intentions into repeatable daily behaviors they can actually follow.
We coach athletes through how they communicate, make decisions, handle adversity, and interact with the people around them.
This is not a generic promise about “building character.” These areas show up in the actual work Core3 does with each athlete.

REAL RELATIONSHIPS
Core3 is built around trust. Our mentors coach in truth, hold athletes to a standard, and also work to become someone the athlete can rely on when basketball or life becomes difficult.

Core3 works best when the athlete is willing to communicate, receive coaching, and take responsibility for the work.
FAQ
Core3 is designed to complement training and team coaching. We focus on the full development picture: individual goals, accountability, mindset, character, film, routines, decision-making, and the relationship with a mentor who stays involved over time.
Calls include a personal check in, follow up from the previous conversation, current basketball development, mental performance, character development, and whatever challenge or decision is most relevant to the athlete at that time.
Athletes can communicate with their mentor, report progress, ask questions, receive film feedback or resources when appropriate, and stay accountable to the goals they set.
No. Core3 uses a consistent development process, but the content is personalized. One athlete may need a shooting routine while another needs film study, confidence work, nutrition habits, or a better weekly structure.
Parents receive a monthly development review that summarizes current themes, progress, mindset and character work, on-court development, and the direction moving forward.
Core3 Coaching Calls offer focused 30-, 45-, or 60-minute sessions without enrollment in the full monthly development system.
